After graduating from Baylor Law School in 1981, David and his wife, Karyn, moved to Henderson where he began his practice of law. Throughout his legal career, David has represented the people of Rusk County in a long list of ways.

Texas law sets limits on contributions, monetary and in kind, to campaigns of candidates for district judge. Such limits are different than those that apply to non-judicial elections.
